Hugo Romero hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes Barr Point got a freekick which was hit by Tristram Kerfoot. With his leg Jude Bonham managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Albigasta FC's Hugo Romero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Jordan in the 20th minute of play forced Albigasta FC's goalkeeper Albino Sol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamie Mayfield might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albino Sol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jamie Mayfield ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Den Newland in the 23rd minute of play forced Albigasta FC's goalkeeper Albino Sol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jamie Mayfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Sol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Den Newland in the 26th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, William Jordan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Albino Sol. Den Newland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Albino Sol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albino Sol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Jordan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, William Jordan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barr Point fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Jordan in the 38th minute of play forced Albigasta FC's goalkeeper Albino Sol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Den Newland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Albino Sol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jamie Mayfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Sol having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Jordan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jamie Mayfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Albino Sol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jamie Mayfield charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jamie Mayfield the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albigasta FC's Santo Faro was substituted for Teodosio Obeko. Jamie Mayfield hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Higinio Maidana kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Albigasta FC's zone, Den Newland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Sol came out of the goal and Den Newland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Den Newland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jamal Dobson kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Alfred Doona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albino Sol. Albigasta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jamie Mayfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamie Mayfield could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Albino Sol made a huge save. In the 98th minute Barr Point were awarded a corner. Jamal Dobson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Chris Bowler got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-6. 98 minutes into the match. Barr Point's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
