Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Cazimir Zăraşcu made the kick off and thus started the match. Sergiu Angheluță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Linhares in the 4th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cléber Pernambucano during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Magnus's zone, George Vâlcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Guimarães came out of the goal and George Vâlcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. George Vâlcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aloísio Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cazimir Zăraşcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Cazimir Zăraşcu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Champions Iasi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Red Bull Magnus getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Josué Castro hit a great ball. If Cazimir Zăraşcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maurinho Rosado made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Magnus's zone, Cazimir Zăraşcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aloísio Guimarães came out of the goal and Cazimir Zăraşcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tony Pontes fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Bull Magnus's protests and gave Tony Pontes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute of the match George Vâlcu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aloísio Guimarães skillfully saved the ball. Cazimir Zăraşcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Aloísio Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergiu Angheluță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergiu Angheluță came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Bull Magnus's Antoine Griezmann. But to his dismay, Antoine Griezmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Aloísio Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Tarcu in the 68th minute of play. Aloísio Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cazimir Zăraşcu in the 69th minute. Edgar Tarcu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aloísio Guimarães came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgar Tarcu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 72nd minute. Edgar Tarcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cazimir Zăraşcu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aloísio Guimarães having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, George Vâlcu put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Aloísio Guimarães. Eduard Ghișe kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Josué Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Bull Magnus and the Champions Iasi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Josué Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th match minute, Red Bull Magnus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Linhares to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Rosado came free, but Sergiu Angheluță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Vâlcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
