The audience thought a goal was coming when George Vâlcu got free with Rafal Rzeszutek in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC Bemowo getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Herbert Zabrzeski hit a great ball. After 21 minutes of play, FC Bemowo's Fabian Klimkiewicz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergiu Angheluță was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabian Klimkiewicz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Cazimir Zăraşcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rafal Rzeszutek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cazimir Zăraşcu in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafal Rzeszutek saved FC Bemowo from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Niculae Măgureanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Bemowo booed when Champions Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Vâlcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half FC Bemowo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cazimir Zăraşcu made a kick off. Roland Gizynski kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Ksawery Zawada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sorin Năsturel struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rafal Rzeszutek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Champions Iasi. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bemowo's goalkeeper Rafal Rzeszutek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Champions Iasi booed when FC Bemowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Pluciennik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Vâlcu to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, FC Bemowo's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Jumancă came free, but Rafal Rzeszutek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Năsturel in the 81st minute of play forced FC Bemowo's goalkeeper Rafal Rzeszutek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bemowo's zone, George Vâlcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafal Rzeszutek came out of the goal and George Vâlcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute Dacian Jumancă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Rzeszutek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dacian Jumancă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filip Kalak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Angheluță having to interfere. Marin Albescu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. FC Bemowo's Rafal Rzeszutek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Vâlcu in the 95th minute of play. In the 95th match minute, FC Bemowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Klimkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. The Champions Iasi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Bemowo's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Bemowo.
