The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of The Gunners booed when Club Atletico Chusca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Basajaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pontus Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Basajaun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dennis Wallin having to make a save. The Gunners's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benjamin Tunander in the 22nd minute. The corner led The Gunners's Benjamin Tunander to fire away a dangerous shot which Tiburcio Maore despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Tunander in the 24th minute of play forced Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Tiburcio Maore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Jokin kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Isidro Chucho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Dennis Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiburcio Maore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Tunander, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Basajaun during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Club Atletico Chusca getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Leonel Basajaun hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pontus Berglund in the 48th minute of play forced Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Tiburcio Maore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Tunander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Tunander took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Maore. Tiburcio Maore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. A collision led to Club Atletico Chusca getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fabio Tulio hit a great ball. Tiburcio Maore made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Benjamin Tunander sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 67 minutes, Leonel Basajaun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Chusca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Basajaun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 69 played minutes The Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Robin Öberg. Fabio Tulio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leonel Basajaun took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dennis Wallin. Dennis Wallin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Tiburcio Maore made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Benjamin Tunander sent off a good shot on target. After 80 played minutes Club Atletico Chusca got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Basajaun. Tiburcio Maore made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Andreas Ahlbeck sent off a good shot on target. Tiburcio Maore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Ahlbeck's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Bernardino Orlondon hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Tiburcio Maore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pontus Berglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Pontus Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Maore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Berglund came free, but Tiburcio Maore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. The Gunners walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
