In the 22nd match minute, Jabaquara SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Arce to maneuver through the defense. Marciano Herena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niyazi Derim. Jabaquara SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jabaquara SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho Fenomeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Regresado fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jabaquara SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
