After 15 played minutes, The Gunners's Benjamin Tunander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Niyazi Derim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Gunners reached it. Dennis Wallin came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jabaquara SC's Paulinho Fenomeno. But to his dismay, Paulinho Fenomeno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience was convinced that Paulão Diniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Wallin was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 62 minutes into the game, Jabaquara SC's Paulão Diniz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Wallin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Paulão Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Paulão Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jabaquara SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulão Diniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Wallin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dennis Wallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulinho Fenomeno's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After 73 minutes The Gunners's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diego Mourato who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Rok Roll managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 79th minute, Paulão Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Wallin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Paulinho Fenomeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dennis Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulão Diniz took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dennis Wallin. Dennis Wallin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 91 minutes into the match, Jabaquara SC's Paulão Diniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Wallin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 92 played minutes Jabaquara SC got a freekick which was hit by Rok Roll. There was no doubt that Jabaquara SC were the better team. Jabaquara SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
