Paulino Lizer hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Edwin Hurtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Discípulos de Ayn Rand getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rene Abechuco hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Artemio Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Hechter came free, but Casimiro Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Adan Francho sped through Discípulos de Ayn Rand's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Casimiro Abad. In the 39th minute, Edwin Hurtado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Discípulos de Ayn Rand fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 43 minutes into the game, Rafael Abella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Feliberto Ortle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 46 minutes of play, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Edwin Hurtado made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliberto Ortle was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Discípulos de Ayn Rand were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Abella to make the kick off. Feliberto Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Hurtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute, Edwin Hurtado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliberto Ortle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 70 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Francho came free, but Casimiro Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Ortle made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Edwin Hurtado sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Feliberto Ortle threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Abella, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Feliberto Ortle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Abella in the 76th minute of the match. Feliberto Ortle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Abella went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute, Paulino Lizer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Edwin Hurtado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliberto Ortle. WINNING ELEVEN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Hurtado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Feliberto Ortle didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 1-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Abechuco in the 97th minute of play forced WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Feliberto Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
