The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Edvaldo Nóbrega fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caxinha F. C.'s protests and gave Edvaldo Nóbrega a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Caxinha F. C.'s Edvaldo Nóbrega got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 3rd minute of the match Jacob Person shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cauan Queirós showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Oscar Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cauan Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristopher Mansfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Kristopher Mansfield scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cauan Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristopher Mansfield in the 16th minute of play forced Caxinha F. C.'s goalkeeper Cauan Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Tango en Miami FC's Robby Couch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cauan Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caxinha F. C.'s Cauan Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Willard in the 24th minute of play. Caxinha F. Cauan Queirós came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tango en Miami FC's Kristopher Mansfield. But to his dismay, Kristopher Mansfield quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 45 minutes into the match, Kristopher Mansfield notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Caxinha F. C.'s Cauan Queirós. Cauan Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Tango en Miami FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Ramos was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Caxinha F. C.'s Cauan Queirós got control of the ball when Quinn Todd tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvaldo Nóbrega hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Tango en Miami FC's Lance Willard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cauan Queirós. Cauan Queirós yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Kristopher Mansfield kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cauan Queirós. That made the score 0-6 in the 64 minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Tango en Miami FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lance Willard to maneuver through the defense. Silvério Pimenta's late challenge caught a Tango en Miami FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvério Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Caxinha F. C. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Silvério Pimenta hit a great ball. Cauan Queirós came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Tango en Miami FC's Kristopher Mansfield. But to his dismay, Kristopher Mansfield quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. When Silvério Pimenta was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. The supporters of Tango en Miami FC booed when Caxinha F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes Lance Willard rounded Caxinha F. C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-9. With a little luck, Caxinha F. C.'s Cauan Queirós got control of the ball when Kristopher Mansfield tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lance Willard scored 0-10 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cauan Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Kristopher Mansfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tango en Miami FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. Caxinha F. C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Lance Willard scored to the left of an out of position Cauan Queirós, making the score, 0-12. With an all-out effort, Tango en Miami FC's Cauan Queirós threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lance Willard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tango en Miami FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
