With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicanor Romelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Tecka Viejo Nomás's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Hechter came free, but Nicanor Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicanor Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Francho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tecka Viejo Nomás's Nicanor Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Hechter in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Timoteo Rioja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adan Francho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tecka Viejo Nomás's Nicanor Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Francho in the 29th minute of play. When Alonzo Ipar fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tecka Viejo Nomás's protests and gave Alonzo Ipar a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Tecka Viejo Nomás got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Ipar. In the 31st minute, Rigoberto Hechter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicanor Romelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 36th match minute, Tecka Viejo Nomás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Rioja to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Francho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 42nd minute, Rigoberto Hechter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WINNING ELEVEN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Rigoberto Hechter came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the WINNING ELEVEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Hechter couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nicanor Romelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Francho in the 54th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Tecka Viejo Nomás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Rioja to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Adan Francho managed to get in a good position for a shot. WINNING ELEVEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Francho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Romelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tecka Viejo Nomás's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rigoberto Hechter 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Nicanor Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Hechter, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Adan Francho could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Nicanor Romelio however easily saved by the left post. Adan Francho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Nicanor Romelio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tecka Viejo Nomás's zone, Rigoberto Hechter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Romelio came out of the goal and Rigoberto Hechter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Adan Francho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tecka Viejo Nomás's Nicanor Romelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Tecka Viejo Nomás from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Adan Francho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicanor Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Hechter, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Hechter got free with Nicanor Romelio in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Tecka Viejo Nomás fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. WINNING ELEVEN were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
