Nicanor Romelio came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Fillos de Breogán's Cosme Ruiz. But to his dismay, Cosme Ruiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 19 minutes, Timoteo Rioja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tecka Viejo Nomás's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Rioja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Fillos de Breogán's Rubén Diaz got control of the ball when Timoteo Rioja tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute Zunbeltz Olle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zunbeltz Olle in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicanor Romelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alonzo Ipar hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Xaime Fuentes charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xaime Fuentes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fillos de Breogán's Xaime Fuentes got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Zunbeltz Olle came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Fillos de Breogán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zunbeltz Olle couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timoteo Rioja to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Cosme Ruiz made a precise shot to the right of Nicanor Romelio. Tecka Viejo Nomás's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Xaime Fuentes was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Fillos de Breogán getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Xaime Fuentes hit a great ball. In the 60th minute of the match Justo Txindoki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rubén Diaz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Reynaldo Lore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fillos de Breogán's Claus Madariaga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tecka Viejo Nomás. A collision led to Tecka Viejo Nomás getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alonzo Ipar hit a great ball. Nicanor Romelio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Nicanor Romelio came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Fillos de Breogán's Cosme Ruiz. But to his dismay, Cosme Ruiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 81 minutes into the match, Fillos de Breogán's Cosme Ruiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicanor Romelio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute Moises Galindo collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Claus Madariaga charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claus Madariaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Claus Madariaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th match minute, Tecka Viejo Nomás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Txindoki to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Tecka Viejo Nomás's Nicanor Romelio got control of the ball when Cosme Ruiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cosme Ruiz struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Nicanor Romelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fillos de Breogán. When the match was over Fillos de Breogán could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tecka Viejo Nomás throughout the match.
