An unexpectedly hard shot by August Ryberg in the 6th minute of play forced Tango en Miami FC's goalkeeper Paul Gary to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute August Ryberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Gary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Tango en Miami FC's Paul Gary got control of the ball when Jim Rang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mikael Rudqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Willard, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell August Ryberg to make the kick off.
