The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens Garberg during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Saga TF's Jens Garberg got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Jan-Frode Sørby fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saga TF's protests and gave Jan-Frode Sørby a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Saga TF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Edvin Hodneland, was totally fooled by Jonstorp FK's Victor Magnusson, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. August Gamst charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed August Gamst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Pontus Holmberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jonstorp FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Edvin Hodneland was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pontus Holmberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. August Gamst hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Victor Magnusson from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Edvin Hodneland's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 42nd minute, Charlie Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Haglund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Saga TF's Edvin Hodneland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Haglund in the 51st minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, André Haglund notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Saga TF's Edvin Hodneland. Edvin Hodneland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute, Jon Bolme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th match minute, Saga TF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Garberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Hjalmar Palm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Hodneland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvin Hodneland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Haglund in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Saga TF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Gamst to maneuver through the defense. Victor Magnusson struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Edvin Hodneland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonstorp FK. Jonstorp FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
