When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Ghislain Couet took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Edvin Hodneland to make any attempt to save it. Edvin Hodneland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Charles Desmoulins in the 75th minute of the match. Edvin Hodneland was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Ghislain Couet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ghislain Couet really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Edvin Hodneland came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by En avant de guingamp's Jean-Charles Desmoulins. But to his dismay, Jean-Charles Desmoulins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guy Cordeau got free with Edvin Hodneland in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edvin Hodneland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles-Emmanuel Bouquet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Charles-Emmanuel Bouquet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Hodneland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. En avant de guingamp's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
