Robin Nordström might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Veloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Fredrik Karlsson fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pauliström's protests and gave Fredrik Karlsson a yellow card for diving instead. Fredrik Karlsson hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a left leg Malcolm Wall saved Pauliström from getting behind. After having played for 95 minutes, Fredrik Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pauliström's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Karlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wolves FC - DMZ had won after a very even match.
