Zé Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Veloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wolves FC - DMZ's Zé Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guy Cordeau in the 88th minute of play. Zé Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy Cordeau in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Tiaguinho Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Guy Cordeau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Veloso was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
