Spectators: 7554 (Terracing: 5667, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) In the 4th minute, Ralf Wennerqvist made a precise shot to the right of Basílio Maranhense. INTER FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Emerson Cruz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving John Zachrisson. That made the score 1-1 in the 9 minute of play. John Zachrisson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Linhares in the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Tallkotte's zone, Mandi Oca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Zachrisson came out of the goal and Mandi Oca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Alves was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. The supporters of IFK Tallkotte booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Tallkotte's goalkeeper John Zachrisson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Basílio Maranhense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ralf Wennerqvist went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Basílio Maranhense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ralf Wennerqvist's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Hortêncio Linhares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of John Zachrisson, 2-2. With his leg John Zachrisson managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when INTER FC's Hortêncio Linhares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hortêncio Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Zachrisson having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Staffan Ekström made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, IFK Tallkotte's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Linhares came free, but John Zachrisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Joseph Lind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute IFK Tallkotte were awarded a corner. Michael Hydén went to the cornerflag to take it. John Zachrisson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Léo Trigo went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. If Mandi Oca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The INTER FC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when INTER FC's Hortêncio Linhares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ralf Wennerqvist hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Hortêncio Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Zachrisson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertinho Meireles hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the INTER FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
