Hortêncio Linhares had several of the Masters United F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Artemio Cristofor as he didn't even see the shot coming. Artemio Cristofor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When Jonathan Rodas fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Masters United F.C.'s protests and gave Jonathan Rodas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Masters United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Rodas to maneuver through the defense. Artemio Cristofor was a little too slow when Hortêncio Linhares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 4-0. The supporters of Masters United F.C. booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Virgilio Elija sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basílio Maranhense skillfully saved the ball. In the 42nd minute, Emerson Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Masters United F.C.'s Felix Ramond nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basílio Maranhense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Mandi Oca struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Artemio Cristofor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Paulo Ralondo made the kick off in the second half. Mandi Oca took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artemio Cristofor. When Alvaro Eate fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Masters United F.C.'s protests and gave Alvaro Eate a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 9-1 when Mandi Oca sped through Masters United F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artemio Cristofor. 71 minutes into the match, Hortêncio Linhares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artemio Cristofor. Masters United F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hortêncio Linhares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. In the 75th minute, Emerson Cruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Cristofor was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-1. In the 80th minute, Emerson Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Artemio Cristofor. Masters United F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-1. When Felix Ramond fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Masters United F.C.'s protests and gave Felix Ramond a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd match minute, Masters United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Ramond to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Emerson Cruz notched a goal, 13-1, to the right of Masters United F.C.'s Artemio Cristofor. Artemio Cristofor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the game, Fabian Rudolfo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Masters United F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER FC the free kick. Fabian Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the match Ricardinho Batista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artemio Cristofor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Ramond got free with Basílio Maranhense in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. INTER FC's Hortêncio Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Virgilio Elija was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Masters United F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER FC the free kick.
