In the 5th minute, Jörgen Bjurström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birger Kleen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Conrado Liberto made a huge save. Ove Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Horado in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Nils Liedholm IF defense, Pedro Horado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ove Hake. The Nils Liedholm IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ove Hake should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute, Romain Riquelme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fumasche fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ove Hake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Eleazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kalle Norström fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nils Liedholm IF's protests and gave Kalle Norström a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fumasche booed when Nils Liedholm IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalle Norström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Liberto made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Jörgen Bjurström sent off a good shot on target. Fumasche's Conrado Liberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Bjurström in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Harry Wennerquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nils Liedholm IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fumasche the free kick. The supporters of Fumasche booed when Nils Liedholm IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Wennerquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romain Riquelme made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Fumasche got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Eleazar. Ove Hake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Horado in the 58th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play, Nils Liedholm IF's Birger Kleen made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Liberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximino Javiero was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, one of Fumasche:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fumasche. The referee gave Nils Liedholm IF a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marc Juhlin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fumasche's Conrado Liberto. 3-3. Pedro Horado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ove Hake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zebastian Österlund during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Nils Liedholm IF got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Österlund. 91 minutes into the game, Nils Liedholm IF's Birger Kleen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Liberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. 98 minutes into the match, Fumasche's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Kleen came free, but Conrado Liberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fumasche players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nils Liedholm IF.
