In the 73rd minute of the match Xentrias got a corner. Fumasche's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonathan Hansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Xentrias's Jussi Björling was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Conrado Liberto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fumasche's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Ponciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Pedro Horado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 played minutes Xentrias got a freekick which was hit by Fang Yang Fei.
