Conny Mattsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörgen Bjurström got free with Conny Mattsson in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Myggenäs IFK's goalkeeper Conny Mattsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Kleen. A collision led to Nils Liedholm IF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Zebastian Österlund hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, Nils Liedholm IF's Jörgen Bjurström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conny Mattsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Conny Mattsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kalle Norström went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Bjurström in the 25th minute of play forced Myggenäs IFK's goalkeeper Conny Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ove Alströmmer to make the kick off. The attack was good, but when Jörgen Bjurström in the 81st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 87th minute, Birger Kleen made a precise shot to the right of Conny Mattsson. Myggenäs IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0.
