Lukas Bjursell hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute of the match Marc Juhlin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig Busk skillfully saved the ball. Marc Juhlin got a throw-in 7 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kalle Norström. Ove Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Norström in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nils Liedholm IF's zone, Ana I stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Hake came out of the goal and Ana I tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ove Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Norström in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nils Liedholm IF's Östen Olsson got a free kick in the 31st minute. Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Norström in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otto Norström in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ove Hake prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xentrias's Otto Norström got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Jörgen Bjurström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Norström in the 43rd minute of play forced Nils Liedholm IF's goalkeeper Ove Hake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörgen Bjurström kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Otto Norström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xentrias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otto Norström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ana I was the one to do the kick off. Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Norström in the 51st minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Xentrias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Hansson to maneuver through the defense. When Jörgen Bjurström fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nils Liedholm IF's protests and gave Jörgen Bjurström a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Nils Liedholm IF got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Bjurström. Ove Hake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Banan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Otto Norström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute of the match, Ana I got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ove Hake was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Otto Norström scored 0-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Hake, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Otto Norström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xentrias's supporters rose to their feet, but Otto Norström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Hake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xentrias's Otto Norström got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Nils Liedholm IF's goalkeeper Ove Hake had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ana I. 88 minutes into the game, Xentrias's Otto Norström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ove Hake made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. With a little luck, Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake got control of the ball when Otto Norström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ove Hake made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ana I in the 93rd minute. Xentrias's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
