An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Eleazar in the 18th minute of play forced Nils Liedholm IF's goalkeeper Ove Hake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Fumasche booed when Nils Liedholm IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Österlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fumasche's Conrado Liberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Kleen in the 26th minute of play. Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Eleazar in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Jörgen Bjurström made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Liberto. Fumasche's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Pedro Horado charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Horado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Horado hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Conrado Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Kleen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Nils Liedholm IF's goal looked a bit too open when Romain Riquelme came free, but Ove Hake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Fumasche's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Bjurström came free, but Conrado Liberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Baldomero Abeita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fumasche's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Abeita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Hake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Jörgen Bjurström made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, one of Fumasche:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fumasche. Conrado Liberto had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Marc Juhlin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Marc Juhlin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fumasche's Conrado Liberto. Conrado Liberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the match, Kalle Norström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Conrado Liberto, 0-3. Romain Riquelme scored 1-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Hake, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fumasche's Conrado Liberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Fumasche from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kalle Norström in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Liberto saved Fumasche from getting behind. In the 97th minute, Birger Kleen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Liberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5.
