Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Almeida kicked off to start the match. Cristobal Iyan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sílvio Ramalho went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cristobal Iyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Ramalho in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Dantas to maneuver through the defense. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Valdemar Quadros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Anier Sotil came free, but Valdemar Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tierra del Fuego FC's Conrado Florian got a free kick in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Geovânio Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Geovânio Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Iyan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdemar Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Domenec in the 27th minute of play. Cristobal Iyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Almeida in the 29th minute of the match. When Saverio Orlo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Tierra del Fuego FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Orlo couldn't finish the play. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tierra del Fuego FC! 39 minutes into the game, Saverio Orlo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdemar Quadros. Saverio Orlo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Conrado Florian hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Emanuel Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Cristobal Iyan. Tierra del Fuego FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The Tierra del Fuego FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Domenec to make the kick off. A collision led to Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Betinho Dantas hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Domenec in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdemar Quadros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Flávio Branco got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Orlo in the 76th minute of play forced Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Valdemar Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Domenec struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Valdemar Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tierra del Fuego FC. After 83 minutes Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivan Domenec who took care of the corner kick. Valdemar Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Domenec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- booed when Tierra del Fuego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Domenec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tierra del Fuego FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emanuel Almeida 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
