After 6 minutes, Nestor Tabb mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newells Old Boys and the Black Sky FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Newells Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Tabb. In the 7th minute, Black Sky FC's Severino Hanot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alberto Txurio. Alberto Txurio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Jesco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Sky FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newells Old Boys the free kick. After a rather tough play, Black Sky FC's Dalmacio Jesco got a free kick in the 17th minute. Alberto Txurio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Severino Hanot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Guillermo Ovando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newells Old Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Sky FC the free kick. In the 26th minute, Guillermo Ovando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Txurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Telesforo in the 33rd minute of play. Angelino Santana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Alberto Txurio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 36th minute, Guillermo Ovando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Severino Hanot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Txurio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Zeledon Ramone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mingo Torrente, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Angelino Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Alberto Txurio made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
The wind increased when Mingo Torrente made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Black Sky FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ladislao Frisco hit a great ball. Black Sky FC's Zeledon Ramone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Black Sky FC from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute Mingo Torrente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Ramone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mingo Torrente in the 66th minute of play forced Black Sky FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Ramone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Black Sky FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bernabe Walme hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Black Sky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mingo Torrente came free, but Zeledon Ramone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Txurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Santana in the 71st minute of the match. When Severino Hanot came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Black Sky FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Hanot couldn't finish the play. After 78 played minutes Newells Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Martino. After having played for 79 minutes, Jonas Rius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Sky FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Rius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Txurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Telesforo in the 81st minute of play. Alberto Txurio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Hanot's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Newells Old Boys's Cirilo Goren got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Guillermo Ovando kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Severino Hanot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Txurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Newells Old Boys's Anacleto Clementi got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mingo Torrente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Ramone having to interfere. Alberto Txurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Hanot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mingo Torrente's late challenge caught a Black Sky FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mingo Torrente helped the player get up and apologised. Black Sky FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Newells Old Boys for a fine match.
