Spectators: 7559 (Terracing: 5670, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when İdris Coşkun got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Froilan Rafe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İdris Coşkun. If Ege Onursoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İdris Coşkun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, POZANTI SPOR's Ege Onursoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Froilan Rafe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Mingo Torrente hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Tayfur Muhlis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Tabb in the 19th minute of play. Ege Onursoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Froilan Rafe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ege Onursoy ran back to his position shaking his head. Mingo Torrente took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tayfur Muhlis. Tayfur Muhlis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Tayfur Muhlis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Ovando in the 29th minute of play. Froilan Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İdris Coşkun, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Froilan Rafe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İdris Coşkun's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 47th match minute, Newells Old Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Lizar to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mingo Torrente made a kick off. Tayfur Muhlis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mingo Torrente, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. İdris Coşkun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Froilan Rafe having to make a save. Tayfur Muhlis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mingo Torrente, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 64 minutes, Paşa Ali Tecen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the POZANTI SPOR and the Newells Old Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Paşa Ali Tecen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, POZANTI SPOR's goalkeeper Tayfur Muhlis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severo Poz. Tayfur Muhlis made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Guillermo Ovando sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd match minute, Newells Old Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Jerrald to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, POZANTI SPOR's Nedim Bilgehan got a free kick in the 76th minute. Guillermo Ovando came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tayfur Muhlis could save by the left post. In the 78th minute of the match Newells Old Boys got a corner. POZANTI SPOR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mingo Torrente ran over to the corner to take the kick. İdris Coşkun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Newells Old Boys's Jorge Lizar got a free kick in the 80th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when İdris Coşkun came free, but Froilan Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Generoso Eyague during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. İdris Coşkun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Kalle Vestlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Froilan Rafe. Newells Old Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kalle Vestlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Newells Old Boys's Froilan Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İdris Coşkun in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the POZANTI SPOR players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
