Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Simon Ieltxu made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute of the match, Guillermo Ovando tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fulgencio Larpe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ubaldo Silvanito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Garnacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ermegildo Poz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Silvanito having to interfere. Maximino Martino charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximino Martino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Newells Old Boys getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Maximino Martino hit a great ball. If Emanuel Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Simon Ieltxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulgencio Larpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Rameriz in the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in KPO BIZARRO's zone, Guillermo Ovando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Larpe came out of the goal and Guillermo Ovando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Newells Old Boys defense, Alejandro Garnacho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubaldo Silvanito. The Newells Old Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Silvanito should have stopped the shot. After 37 played minutes Newells Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Eyague. After a rather tough play, Newells Old Boys's Generoso Eyague got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Alejandro Garnacho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ubaldo Silvanito. Newells Old Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Garnacho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ubaldo Silvanito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Garnacho in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ubaldo Silvanito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermegildo Poz in the 56th minute. When Amador Urti fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newells Old Boys's protests and gave Amador Urti a yellow card for diving instead. Amador Urti kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Amador Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute, Cesar Cordairo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejandro Garnacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Newells Old Boys's Ubaldo Silvanito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Newells Old Boys from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, KPO BIZARRO's Ubaldo Silvanito threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alejandro Garnacho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 76 minutes into the game, Benjamin Valiente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newells Old Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KPO BIZARRO the free kick. In the 76th match minute, Newells Old Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Valiente to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Garnacho in the 88th minute of play forced Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Ubaldo Silvanito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Ovando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fulgencio Larpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Ieltxu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Ubaldo Silvanito skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ubaldo Silvanito didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when KPO BIZARRO's Alejandro Garnacho shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. The Newells Old Boys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KPO BIZARRO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
