The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cenan Savlet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ingvar Beckström came out and tried to block the shot, but Cenan Savlet slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Crişan Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Nord in the 6th minute of the match. After 10 minutes Ciclista FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Orvar Svanberg who took care of the corner kick. When Pashk Reçi came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Ciclista FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pashk Reçi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicklas Mickelsson in the 14th minute of play forced Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingvar Beckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Ciclista FC's Cenan Savlet in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Beckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenan Savlet in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Doffes Damer booed when Ciclista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Ciclista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Nord came free, but Crişan Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Benedetto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ingvar Beckström firmly grabbed it by the left post. Crişan Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orvar Svanberg in the 29th minute of play. Ingvar Beckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Benedetto in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Doffes Damer's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amador Francesco was slow to take the kick. During this time Ciclista FC's players had a chance to rest. Doffes Damer's Ingvar Beckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Flores in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orvar Svanberg in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Crişan Taffarel saved Ciclista FC from getting behind. Doffes Damer were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Ciclista FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Orvar Svanberg took the corner. Ciclista FC's Rigoberto Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dario Benedetto made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Svanberg in the 51st minute of play forced Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Serafin Cidro put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Doffes Damer booed when Ciclista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Cidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Orvar Svanberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Crişan Taffarel. Ciclista FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orvar Svanberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 68 minutes into the game, Benjamin Persson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Doffes Damer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciclista FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Doffes Damer's Benjamin Persson got a free kick in the 68th minute. Ingvar Beckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pashk Reçi in the 69th minute of play. Benjamin Persson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Crişan Taffarel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Cenan Savlet struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ingvar Beckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciclista FC. 79 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Cenan Savlet came free, but Ingvar Beckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Staffan Bohlin hit a great ball. Ciclista FC's Cenan Savlet got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Pashk Reçi came free, but Ingvar Beckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ciclista FC's Crişan Taffarel got control of the ball when Dag Norberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Doffes Damer's Leo Larsson was substituted for Fredrik Stenquist. After 93 played minutes Ciclista FC got a freekick which was hit by Pashk Reçi. The Doffes Damer players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ciclista FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
