The supporters of Furia Calamar booed when S.E. Pindorama Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Beltran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Marin in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Camilo Marin made a precise shot to the right of Júlio Schmidt. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Mário de Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the S.E. Pindorama Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário de Azevedo couldn't finish the play. If Mário de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Mário de Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Beltran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Furia Calamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Villalba to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Ronaldo Martínez made a precise shot to the right of Júlio Schmidt. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Júlio Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Villalba in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to S.E. Pindorama Eagles getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Pindorama Eagles's Virgílio Cunha to fire away a dangerous shot which Simon Beltran despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The wind increased when Camilo Marin made the kick off in the second half. Júlio Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Marin in the 59th minute of the match. Furia Calamar were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gastón Suso took the corner. A collision led to S.E. Pindorama Eagles getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mário de Azevedo hit a great ball. Furia Calamar's Aquiles Domeka was substituted for Lionel Picco. After a rather tough play, S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Mário de Azevedo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Mário de Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Beltran. Furia Calamar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mário de Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Furia Calamar's Ambrosio Herena was substituted for Camilo Marin. After 70 played minutes Furia Calamar got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Villalba. Júlio Schmidt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmar Duarte in the 73rd minute. After 73 played minutes S.E. Pindorama Eagles got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Freire. Júlio Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Herena, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 80th match minute, S.E. Pindorama Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Porto to maneuver through the defense. When Gastón Suso came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Furia Calamar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gastón Suso couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Furia Calamar booed when S.E. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Gastón Suso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furia Calamar's supporters rose to their feet, but Gastón Suso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmar Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Júlio Schmidt made a huge save. After some careless play in the Furia Calamar defense, Mário de Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Beltran. The Furia Calamar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Beltran should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Furia Calamar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.E. Pindorama Eagles throughout the match.
