Benedykt Palzewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Portuguesa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedykt Palzewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Mauda's zone, Charles Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Walczyk came out of the goal and Charles Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Walczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Augusto de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betinho Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Artur Walczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Portuguesa's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Mios came free, but Giovani de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Charles Arantes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artur Walczyk. That made the score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. Giovani de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Mios, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Pedro Augusto de Barros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Artur Walczyk, 2-1. After 45 played minutes Portuguesa got a freekick which was hit by Yuri de Queiroz. 49 minutes into the match, Portuguesa's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Mios came free, but Giovani de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krzysztof Mios to strike the kick off in the second half. Artur Walczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Arantes in the 58th minute of play forced Mauda's goalkeeper Artur Walczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mauda getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Witomir Pyrzyce hit a great ball. If Cezary Antoszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Betinho Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Walczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Arantes in the 69th minute of play. After 74 played minutes Mauda got a freekick which was hit by Wincenty Fetor. After a defensive mix-up in Mauda's zone, Charles Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Walczyk came out of the goal and Charles Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the game, Betinho Severo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Artur Walczyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Charles Arantes put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Artur Walczyk. Charles Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Walczyk having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles Arantes in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Walczyk saved Mauda from getting behind. Artur Walczyk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Betinho Severo went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. If Afonsinho Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Mauda's Michal Puszynski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Michal Puszynski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mauda protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Michal Puszynski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 96th minute, one of Mauda:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mauda. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Portuguesa. Yuri de Queiroz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Artur Walczyk. 7-1. There was no doubt that Portuguesa were the better team. Portuguesa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
