Furia Calamar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Herena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th match minute, Furia Calamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Martínez to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Camilo Marin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 16th minute, Aureliusz Anszczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leon Rzeszutko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Vázquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Martínez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Furia Calamar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The White Star WK the free kick. Ronaldo Martínez kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Beniamin Bochinski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Furia Calamar's Simon Beltran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, The White Star WK's goalkeeper Leon Rzeszutko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camilo Marin. Aureliusz Jaks kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Camilo Marin came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Furia Calamar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Marin couldn't finish the play. Simon Beltran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beniamin Bochinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute The White Star WK were awarded a corner. Filip Augustyn went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led The White Star WK's Aureliusz Anszczak to fire away a dangerous shot which Simon Beltran despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aureliusz Jaks charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliusz Jaks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to The White Star WK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Aureliusz Jaks hit a great ball. During the 47th minute of the match Ronaldo Martínez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ronaldo Martínez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ronaldo Martínez kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Furia Calamar's Erubiel Matthew was substituted for Ambrosio Herena. In the 49th minute, Ronaldo Martínez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Nacho Vázquez's late challenge caught a The White Star WK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nacho Vázquez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Furia Calamar's Nacho Vázquez got a free kick in the 55th minute. Simon Beltran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beniamin Bochinski's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Beniamin Bochinski struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Simon Beltran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The White Star WK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Chmelyk in the 76th minute of play forced Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Simon Beltran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Furia Calamar fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Furia Calamar's Delmar Duarte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Delmar Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Leon Rzeszutko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmar Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When The White Star WK's Beniamin Bochinski in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The White Star WK's Leon Rzeszutko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Duarte in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Furia Calamar fans cheered their team off the field, for while The White Star WK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
