Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) After 5 minutes, Sune Sjöö mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Mayonnaise and the Portuguesa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, AC Mayonnaise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Sjöö to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Portuguesa's Charles Arantes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Walter Mårtensson. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Walter Mårtensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Betinho Severo in the 9th minute. Herman Forsman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Giovani de Amaral. Portuguesa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Walter Mårtensson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sidnei Faria showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. Walter Mårtensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Faria in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's Edmund Runberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovani de Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kjell-Arne Lindberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Charles Arantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kjell-Arne Lindberg's late challenge caught a Portuguesa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell-Arne Lindberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes AC Mayonnaise got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Lindberg. If Charles Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Betinho Severo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Walter Mårtensson to make any attempt to save it. After 47th play minutes Arne Njurenius shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Giovani de Amaral and just under the crossbar into goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Charles Arantes made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Charles Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Charles Arantes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portuguesa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Walter Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmund Runberg during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. AC Mayonnaise's Walter Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Arantes in the 60th minute of play. Charles Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Walter Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Betinho Severo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Mårtensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Walter Mårtensson came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Portuguesa's Sidnei Faria. But to his dismay, Sidnei Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After a rather tough play, AC Mayonnaise's Sune Sjöö got a free kick in the 86th minute. Betinho Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Walter Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Charles Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portuguesa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
