Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Rios in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After 8 played minutes, Unidad de Matanza's Elvio Urtungo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benedicto Sugoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Benedicto Sugoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luciano Elivareo charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Elivareo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Unidad de Matanza's Luciano Elivareo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Benicio Arias hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. During this time Unidad de Matanza's players had a chance to rest. 42 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Rios came free, but Benedicto Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Riesgo Cero defense, Reynaldo Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Sugoi. The Riesgo Cero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Sugoi should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Riesgo Cero's Benedicto Sugoi got control of the ball when Segundo Delfino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Peyo to maneuver through the defense. Unidad de Matanza's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
