The Atletico Aragua FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boni Arregui should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Airetupal EXC's Reinaldo Briceño got a free kick in the 12th minute. Airetupal EXC's Luzaide Mareide managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bernad Tehas in the 16 minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Matro Beyzania shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boni Arregui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Zernin Mendivil made a precise shot to the right of Boni Arregui. Atletico Aragua FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Blas Terres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Airetupal EXC's Reinaldo Briceño nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boni Arregui made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Zernin Mendivil took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boni Arregui. Boni Arregui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 41st minute Zernin Mendivil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boni Arregui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Emesto Villarreal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boni Arregui was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Emesto Villarreal made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Atletico Aragua FC defense, Zernin Mendivil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boni Arregui. After 59 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Perlacia. Airetupal EXC's Reinaldo Briceño got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zernin Mendivil received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boni Arregui came out and tried to block the shot, but Zernin Mendivil slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 63rd minute. Airetupal EXC's Zernin Mendivil got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Emesto Villarreal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boni Arregui was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Matro Beyzania's late challenge caught a Atletico Aragua FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matro Beyzania helped the player get up and apologised. Matro Beyzania kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emesto Villarreal 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-12. Boni Arregui was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zernin Mendivil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 79 minute of play. Boni Arregui made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Castel Espino sent off a good shot on target. Boni Arregui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zernin Mendivil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boni Arregui stood somewhat misplaced when Emesto Villarreal came free in front of goal and shot 0-15 to the left of him in the 93 minute. After 95 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Cerezo.
