Fulgencio Natal helped the player get up and apologised. REAL VASCO RIO's Nando Gaspar was substituted for José Pedro Simão. After a rather tough play, Almeyra F.C.'s Fulgencio Natal got a free kick in the 8th minute. Froilan Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber Cardozo in the 13th minute of play. Froilan Llorian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a little luck, REAL VASCO RIO's Percival Prestes got control of the ball when Esteban Laurentzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Cardozo in the 20th minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Froilan Llorian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Almeyra F.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Cecilio Rioja hit a great ball. When Durvalino Sarmento came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the REAL VASCO RIO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Durvalino Sarmento couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Fernandes came free, but Froilan Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, REAL VASCO RIO's Percival Prestes got control of the ball when Fulgencio Natal tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to REAL VASCO RIO getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ricardo Cosme hit a great ball. A hard shot by Claudio Nataniel from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Percival Prestes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, REAL VASCO RIO's Durvalino Sarmento got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Fernandes to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Almeyra F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Durvalino Sarmento who took care of the corner kick. REAL VASCO RIO's Ricardo Cosme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Froilan Llorian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 58th minute Esteban Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
