Tirant lo Blanch's supporters rose to their feet, but Aris Kounadakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Sugoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aris Kounadakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benedicto Sugoi having to make a save. If Prudencio Rolado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Sugoi made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Aris Kounadakis sent off a good shot on target. Benedicto Sugoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aris Kounadakis's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aris Kounadakis got free with Benedicto Sugoi in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mergildo Pascua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Sugoi having to interfere. The Tirant lo Blanch fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Tirant lo Blanch's Aris Kounadakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Domeka Talavera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Charro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Benedicto Sugoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victorio Eliu charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorio Eliu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Riesgo Cero got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Eliu. Aris Kounadakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedicto Sugoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aris Kounadakis ran back to his position shaking his head. Riesgo Cero's Benedicto Sugoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Riesgo Cero from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aris Kounadakis was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Tirant lo Blanch's zone, Prudencio Rolado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domeka Talavera came out of the goal and Prudencio Rolado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute of the match Paul Ortega shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benedicto Sugoi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benedicto Sugoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aris Kounadakis in the 68th minute of play. Fernando Giner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aris Kounadakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedicto Sugoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aris Kounadakis in the 73rd minute of the match. Riesgo Cero's Benedicto Sugoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aris Kounadakis in the 75th minute of play. Aris Kounadakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedicto Sugoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aris Kounadakis ran back to his position shaking his head. After 79 played minutes Riesgo Cero got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Tartalo. Marcos Charro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
