Jereba 4EVER's Duda Veloso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Célio Machado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 13 minutes into the match, Jereba 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Carvalho came free, but Dieguinho Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Jereba 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Castro. In the 19th minute of the match Jereba 4EVER got a corner. Capivara FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zé Paulo Castro ran over to the corner to take the kick. With 20 minutes on the clock, Denílson Vander commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Capivara FC! In the 26thth minute of the game Zé Paulo Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capivara FC's Célio Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Célio Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Paulo Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Célio Machado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Célio Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vito Porto in the 40th minute. Célio Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Brodel in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Dorival Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capivara FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jereba 4EVER the free kick. Dorival Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Célio Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Brodel in the 45th minute of play. Zé Paulo Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Célio Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Edvaldo Leal made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Jereba 4EVER's Dieguinho Viana got control of the ball when Edvaldo Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Paulo Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Machado having to interfere. Célio Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Porto in the 57th minute of the match. Célio Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Fabiano Negri got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Célio Machado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Paulo Castro's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Paulo Castro in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Célio Machado saved Capivara FC from getting behind. Capivara FC's Célio Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Brodel in the 72nd minute of play. If Zé Paulo Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Fabiano Negri got a free kick in the 75th minute. Paulo Renato Silva struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Célio Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jereba 4EVER. After a defensive mix-up in Capivara FC's zone, Zé Paulo Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Célio Machado came out of the goal and Zé Paulo Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Célio Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Jereba 4EVER booed when Capivara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Renato Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guto Bastos hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Edvaldo Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dieguinho Viana made a huge save. 93 minutes into the game, Jereba 4EVER's Zé Paulo Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Célio Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Paulo Renato Silva took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Célio Machado. Célio Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Capivara FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jereba 4EVER.
