Carlos Xabier was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Iordache Donicis short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Carlos Xabier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Cristiano Cigaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceferino Platon to strike the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Los Trip fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! In the 64th minute Artan Amiti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Xabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
