Pablo Chap who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Severo Elequemedo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Alario in the 22nd minute of play forced RED DEVIL's goalkeeper Alfonso Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Chap let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 25th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Bertran got free with Severo Elequemedo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, RED DEVIL's Ciriaco Cayo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Severo Elequemedo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 48th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ciriaco Cayo made the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Hunfredo charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. For all the effort they put into the match, the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RED DEVIL.
