Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Capivara FC's Glauco Aparecido started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Celso Maranhense's late challenge caught a Los Trip's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. 2 minutes into the game, one of Capivara FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lúcio Domingues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixto Frichoso went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Glauco Aparecido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Larpe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Fulgencio Arce took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lúcio Domingues. Lúcio Domingues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 19 played minutes Capivara FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Lopez. Edvaldo Leal hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Lúcio Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Capivara FC booed when Los Trip was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Frichoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Larpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luciano Pereira in the 30th minute. Los Trip's Jeremias Larpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Sampaio in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Luciano Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Larpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Arce in the 38th minute of play forced Capivara FC's goalkeeper Lúcio Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Glauco Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Arce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lúcio Domingues was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Fulgencio Arce sped through Capivara FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lúcio Domingues. The Capivara FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Trip were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fulgencio Arce to strike the kick off in the second half. Glauco Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jeremias Larpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaias Matxin kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Glauco Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Larpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Larpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Lúcio Domingues successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lúcio Domingues had great luck who in the 65thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fulgencio Arce from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. A collision led to Capivara FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Dieguinho Pinho hit a great ball. If Fulgencio Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Trip had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
