The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teis Okking might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Piszczor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teis Okking ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the match, Jadymy Durś's goalkeeper Edgar Piszczor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teis Okking. After 16 minutes, Teis Okking made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jadymy Durś's Edgar Piszczor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Jadymy Durś's zone, Teis Okking stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Piszczor came out of the goal and Teis Okking tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Teis Okking fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AB Tårnby's protests and gave Teis Okking a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jadymy Durś booed when AB Tårnby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teis Okking didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Valsgard struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Edgar Piszczor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AB Tårnby. Edgar Piszczor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teis Okking in the 26th minute of play. Terkild Lukasen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartosz Komanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teis Okking had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teis Okking sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teis Okking fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Piszczor having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play AB Tårnby's Teis Okking was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 48th match minute, AB Tårnby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teis Okking to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Gilen was the one to do the kick off. Terkild Lukasen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Komanski in the 79th minute of play. A throw-in in the 80th minute of the game was made by Egil Kluglein with Sebastian Gilen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 89th minute, Erik Valsgard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jadymy Durś's attentive Damazy Matela managed to snatch the ball when Egil Kluglein made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. There was no doubt that AB Tårnby were the better team. AB Tårnby's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
