When Ricardo Meira came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ɍυƒυs™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Meira couldn't finish the play. Uriel Isusko hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Saúl Soveral made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Eusko. El Millo de Haedo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Gustavo Eusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saúl Soveral in the 20th minute of play. Horácio Caiado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saúl Soveral in the 35th minute of play forced El Millo de Haedo's goalkeeper Gustavo Eusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ɍυƒυs™ booed when El Millo de Haedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Eguzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes El Millo de Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Isusko. After the first half El Millo de Haedo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, Sixto Vincent notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ɍυƒυs™'s Horácio Caiado. Horácio Caiado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Horácio Caiado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Berbiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 60 minutes on the clock, Sálvio Caldas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Sálvio Caldas kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Horácio Caiado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Eguzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horácio Caiado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Vincent in the 65th minute of the match. Gustavo Eusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saúl Soveral in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Millo de Haedo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gervásio Lages was slow to take the kick. During this time Ɍυƒυs™'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ɍυƒυs™'s corner Gervásio Lages fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gustavo Eusko quite easily take care of the ball. Gustavo Eusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saúl Soveral in the 80th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes El Millo de Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Isusko. After 86 minutes of play, Ɍυƒυs™'s Gervásio Lages made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Eusko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Javier Eguzki hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Gervásio Lages made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Eusko. El Millo de Haedo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Ɍυƒυs™ were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing El Millo de Haedo to leave the ground with a draw.
