Kurdistan CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Ove Sandström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Terciero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Erland Spetz managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Maní FC's Christian Ramone fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Maní FC booed when Kurdistan CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xalbador Sparke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erland Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Salomone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Ramone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erland Spetz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The Maní FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kurdistan CF were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when John Kämpe made the kick off in the second half. Kaj Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Terciero having to interfere. Karl-Ove Sandström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Higinio Terciero made a huge save. Erland Spetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Henrico in the 62nd minute of the match. Maní FC's Higinio Terciero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Maní FC from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute Lorenzo Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Kämpe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Higinio Terciero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Christian Ramone took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erland Spetz. Erland Spetz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Maní FC's Higinio Terciero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Maní FC from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Lorenzo Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Domingos Salomone made a precise shot to the right of Erland Spetz. Kurdistan CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Erland Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Salomone, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Lorenzo Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maní FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Henrico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
