In the 47th minute, Hugo Abajas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Martinho Rios made the kick off in the second half. Filipe Semedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Misael Abarca in the 54th minute of play. Agustin Avellaneda made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Martinho Rios sent off a good shot on target. When Misael Abarca came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Sportivo Chupeño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Misael Abarca couldn't finish the play. Hugo Abajas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Agustin Avellaneda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martinho Rios in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, GD JULIO DINIS's goal looked a bit too open when Ascencio Abechuco came free, but Filipe Semedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Semedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ascencio Abechuco in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, GD JULIO DINIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Santana to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Misael Abarca in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Semedo saved GD JULIO DINIS from getting behind. GD JULIO DINIS's Filipe Semedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Abajas in the 85th minute of play. Hugo Abajas took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe Semedo. Filipe Semedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teofilo Abellaneda during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 minutes, Misael Abarca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Chupeño and the GD JULIO DINIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Misael Abarca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martinho Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Agustin Avellaneda made a huge save. In the 97th minute GD JULIO DINIS were awarded a corner. Miguel Sales went to the cornerflag to take it. Sportivo Chupeño walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
