The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Hugo's Eero Tael suffered a sprained foot after 2 minutes and couldn't finish the game. FC Hugo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Chupeño the free kick. A collision led to FC Hugo getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. After 35 played minutes, Sportivo Chupeño's Ascencio Abechuco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andre Pere came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sportivo Chupeño reached it. During this time Sportivo Chupeño's players had a chance to rest. 69 minutes into the match, FC Hugo's goal looked a bit too open when Ascencio Abechuco came free, but Andre Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, FC Hugo's Andris Allas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Orti Abastas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Chupeño's supporters rose to their feet, but Orti Abastas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Pere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maarek Nisu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Avellaneda having to interfere. Andre Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Abajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sportivo Chupeño fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Hugo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
