Maarek Nisu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Roderigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Leandro Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Hugo's Ahto Karindi got a free kick in the 18th minute. Javier Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Ojamäe, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Ojamäe in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Roderigo saved Deportivo Messina from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Deportivo Messina's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Ojamäe came free, but Javier Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, FC Hugo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maarek Nisu to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Deportivo Messina defense, Robert Ojamäe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Roderigo. The Deportivo Messina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Roderigo should have stopped the shot. Deportivo Messina made a substitution. Omar Felipo replaced Joel Chap. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robert Ojamäe was the one to do the kick off. FC Hugo's Andre Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Araoz in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Ojamäe in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Roderigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Robert Ojamäe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Roderigo was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Andre Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Rodas in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Maarek Nisu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hugo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maarek Nisu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 79 in the game by Robert Ojamäe from a close distance when the talented Javier Roderigo managed to make a qualified save. Deportivo Messina's players were relieved. FC Hugo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
