With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pieter-Jan Rummens in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arvid Bremming saved Sacri from getting behind. A collision led to FC Ouagadougou National getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Issa Bado hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Pieter-Jan Rummens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvid Bremming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sacri players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Ouagadougou National were winning 0-4.

Antonio Claeys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Asklund in the 52nd minute of play. Sacri's Arvid Bremming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter-Jan Rummens in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, FC Ouagadougou National's Issa Bado made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arvid Bremming was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute Fredric Rudqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Claeys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacri's Arvid Bremming proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Sacri from getting a goal against them. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
