An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthieu Leempoels in the 40th minute of play forced Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Agustin Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Ascencio Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthieu Leempoels during the 44th minute. When the final whistle sounded Sportivo Chupeño left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Flamenco United.
