Gregorio Gilesindo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pénzügyőr SE's attentive Róbert Sárosi managed to snatch the ball when Sung Park made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the game, Rosendo Esquipula threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pénzügyőr SE's Róbert Sárosi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Gábor Seres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute of the match, Gábor Seres tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gregorio Gilesindo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gregorio Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Sárosi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Rosendo Esquipula in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pénzügyőr SE's Róbert Sárosi. The supporters of Pénzügyőr SE booed when Golden Generation was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Quinten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gábor Seres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 minutes, Rosendo Esquipula mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Generation and the Pénzügyőr SE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Golden Generation got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Esquipula. Balázs Vén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gregorio Gilesindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Micki Owen to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Róbert Sárosi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Róbert Sárosi came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Pénzügyőr SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbert Sárosi couldn't finish the play. Pénzügyőr SE's attentive Róbert Sárosi managed to snatch the ball when Rosendo Esquipula made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. 倪树岚's late challenge caught a Golden Generation's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 倪树岚 helped the player get up and apologised. 倪树岚 hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gábor Seres in the 84th minute of play forced Golden Generation's goalkeeper Gregorio Gilesindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes, Benito Llorenc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Generation and the Pénzügyőr SE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Golden Generation got a freekick which was hit by Benito Llorenc. After some careless play in the Golden Generation defense, Róbert Sárosi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Gilesindo. The Golden Generation fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Gilesindo should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Pénzügyőr SE were the better team. Pénzügyőr SE's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
