In the 21st minute, Micki Essien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fernado Folgueral fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zebolla FC's protests and gave Fernado Folgueral a yellow card for diving instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 52nd minute, Golden Generation's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fernado Folgueral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavieon Sorribo in the 56th minute of play forced Golden Generation's goalkeeper Gregorio Gilesindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Jo-Wilfried Joestar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Micki Owen scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anter Barroso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jo-Wilfried Joestar fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zebolla FC's protests and gave Jo-Wilfried Joestar a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Zebolla FC got a freekick which was hit by Jo-Wilfried Joestar. Zebolla FC's Heitor Dorrial was substituted for Fernado Folgueral. In the 63rd minute, Jo-Wilfried Joestar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aznar Guillamas in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Golden Generation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Esquipula to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Lucas hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Zebolla FC's Xavieon Sorribo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gregorio Gilesindo. Gregorio Gilesindo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Ysidro Herruz charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ysidro Herruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Golden Generation booed when Zebolla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ysidro Herruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes of play Zebolla FC's Jo-Wilfried Joestar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
