Micki Owen kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Ferenc Berta notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Golden Generation's Edelmiro Garcia. Edelmiro Garcia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bonifacio George hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 23rd match minute, Golden Generation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Quinten to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Ferenc Berta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pénzügyőr SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Generation the free kick. A collision led to Pénzügyőr SE getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ferenc Berta hit a great ball. Ferenc Berta took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edelmiro Garcia. Edelmiro Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Edelmiro Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferenc Berta in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pénzügyőr SE's Pepe Payet got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ferenc Berta made the kick off in the second half. Claudio Abella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ferdinánd Nyilasi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ferenc Berta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Garcia was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Benito Llorenc made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Benito Llorenc. In the 65th match minute, Golden Generation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micki Owen to maneuver through the defense. Balázs Vén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Garcia having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Ferenc Berta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 69 minutes, Micki Owen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Generation and the Pénzügyőr SE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Micki Owen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Golden Generation's Gregorio Gilesindo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Ferenc Berta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Edelmiro Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferenc Berta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th play minute Róbert Elek came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edelmiro Garcia. 0-3. The supporters of Golden Generation booed when Pénzügyőr SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Péter Jakó didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Ádám Madaras took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Edelmiro Garcia to make any attempt to save it. Edelmiro Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Róbert Elek's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Sung Park hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Pénzügyőr SE's Ádám Madaras got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
